About Kristen Braatz

Dr. Kristen Braatz is the AVP of Curriculum & Instruction at Curriculum Associates, where she leads a national team focused on helping educators successfully implement high-quality instructional materials at scale. Her team partners with schools and districts across the country to support implementation, pilot experiences, and instructional decision-making. Before joining Curriculum Associates, Kristen taught middle school and high school English language arts and led a team of literacy coaches as a literacy coordinator. Kristen is mom to three young children who inspire her curiosity and desire to keep learning. She earned a master’s degree from Concordia University and a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy from Cardinal Stritch University.
